ABOUT THE INL OPENING SESSION
The Institute for Nursing Leadership opening session, Courageous Careers: Stepping Out, Bringing All In features diverse, nursing leaders who demonstrate courage and agility within their respective professional roles and environments to instill change that reduces health disparities, promotes health equity, and eliminates racism and bias. They will share their vulnerabilities, successes, and the perspective of failing forward on their leadership journeys and in the roles of mentor and mentee. Attendees at all stages of career will find their messages authentic, inspiring, and empowering.
AS A RESULT OF ATTENDING THIS SESSION, PARTICIPANTS WILL:
Reflect on their own leadership journey, embracing both challenges and successes.
Identify leadership strategies to accelerate efforts that reduce health disparities, promote health equity, or eliminate racism and bias.
Articulate how they plan to support others in their leadership growth, whether through mentorship or other means of engagement.
