LeShonda Wallace is an Advanced Practice Nurse at Novant Health and Executive Director for SEEDS of Healing.

Dr. Wallace is an Infectious Disease Care Provider at Novant Health in Southeastern North Carolina (NC). This nurse-led practice is the Medical Home for patients living with a diagnosis of HIV. Her work focuses on achieving health equity and improving health for marginalized populations. Her strategies include creating interdisciplinary practice treatment protocols and advocacy across silos to eliminate health disparities resulting from healthcare inequities and structural racism. She builds capacity for service through partnerships with community-based organizations and NC universities. Her service and preceptorship with students generate an average of 3,000 supervision hours annually.

She is the founder of SEEDS of Healing, the only HIV advocacy non-profit serving Southeast NC that centers on Black women. She is Chair of the New Hanover County (NHC) Health and Human Services Board and NHC NAACP Health Committee and is a member of the NHC Endowment Community Advisory Council.

Dr. Wallace holds a PhD in Public Health from Walden University, an MSN from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a BS from Rutgers University College of Nursing.
