Bonnie Proulx is Corporate Director of Advanced Practice Providers at Emory Healthcare and Adjunct Faculty at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. Previously, she served as Associate Director of Advanced Practice Providers at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Community Group Practices.

Dr. Proulx has dedicated the past three decades to pioneering and disseminating a national model on Advanced Practice Provider supporting framework for the advancement of Nurse Practitioner practice. Her work centers on a governing APRN reporting model that documents the direct alignment of standardized service line productivity and accountability expectations, competencies, as well as a vision and strategic plan to support APRNs. The model’s data, including increased revenue capture, indicates improved employee retention and engagement and showcases care models of APRNs providing high quality patient access to care.

As a member of the Georgia Composite Medical Board’s APRN committee, she has influenced implementation of the Consensus Model, with publication of the scope of practice and education for physician and APRN colleagues.

Dr. Proulx received her Doctorate of Executive Nursing Leadership at American Sentinel University, MSN in Nursing at Boston College, and BSN from St. Anselm College. She is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, actively practicing in her 30th year.
