Yanjin Liu is Professor of Nursing and Doctoral Supervisor at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. Ms. Liu was in the first group of nursing students after China resumed the college entrance examination in 1977. After graduating in December 1979, she engaged in clinical nursing work in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. She has dedicated 43 years to nursing and has participated in the transformation of nursing in China. She has practiced in many volunteer services in the field of public health. She is a leader in transforming nursing practice and initiated the innovative development of nursing in Henan Province. In order to promote the development of nursing in China, she has been committed to the development of specialized nursing, construction of the discipline of nursing and improving the literacy of the nursing team. To solve specific problems in clinical nursing practice, she carried out research in stroke and orthopedic nursing and the research results have been promoted and applied in many medical institutions in China. As a result of her work, patient lives have been improved and good social benefits have been achieved.

Ms. Liu earned her BSN from Shanxi Changzhi Medical University and her MS from Zhengzhou University.
