Jared M. Kutzin is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine & Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Sr. Director of Simulation at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Kutzin serves as the educational and administrative director for the Simulation Teaching and Research Center in the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. In this role he oversees the innovative and immersive educational programs for multiple departments, including the Department of Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Family Medicine, EMS, OBGYN, and Nursing. He is the sole nursing member of the Institute for Medical Education at Mount Sinai, serves on the curriculum revision committee for the Icahn School of Medicine, is a member of the New York State Board of Nursing, a voting member of the New York State Emergency Medical Services Council, and is on the Board of Directors of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.

Dr. Kutzin received his DNP from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, MS in Medical Education from the University of New England College of Medicine, MPH in Health Policy and Management from Boston University, BS in Nursing from Columbia University, and BS in Health Education from Hofstra University.
