Xia Fu is the Chief Nursing Officer in The Eighth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University. Dr. Fu serves as clinical lead for the organization, directing over 1100 nurses as well as planning, overseeing and evaluating all aspects of clinical operations, services and nurse education to ensure the delivery of quality care for patients in the hospital and communities. She also serves as adjunct faculty at Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and Southern Medical University. She is the director of hemodialysis nursing committee in Guangdong Nursing Association, a vice director of hemodialysis nursing committee in Chinese Nursing Association, the nursing leader in Blood Purification Management Professional Committee of Guangdong Provincial Hospital Association, and a member of standing committee in Critical care Blood Purification Association of China. Dr. Fu previously held leadership roles as senior nurse manager in blood purification center, Guangdong General Hospital and as a chief member and secretary of expert group in Medical Quality Control Center for Blood Purification of Guangdong Province.

Dr. Fu received her BSN from Tianjin Medical University, MSN from Sun Yat-Sen University and PhD from Southern Medical University.
