Michael Joseph Dino is the Director for Research Development and Innovation Center of the Our Lady of Fatima University in Valenzuela City, Philippines and is the President of the Phi Gamma Chapter (the first and only virtual chapter) of the Sigma International Honor Society in Nursing. Dr. Dino is an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) and former member of its Advisory Board for Health and Medicine in the Asia Pacific Region. He is an alumnus of the ICN’s Global Nursing Leadership Institute (GNLI), Sigma’s Experienced Faculty Leadership Academy (ENFLA), and a participant of the AACN’s Graduate Nursing Student Academy’s Digital Innovators program. He is Sigma Nursing’s 2019 Emerging Nurse Researcher awardee, Turnitin’s Academic Integrity Ambassador, and a Philippine National Research Council’s Research and Development (RD) Leader for immersive reality for disaster response programs. He is currently leading several projects on Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies for health including Humanoid Technologies and Robotics in Nursing.
Dr. Dino received his BSN and MA from the Our Lady of Fatima University, and PhD in Development Studies degree at the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas. Currently, he is pursuing his second doctoral degree (Nursing) at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
