Nancy Atmospera-Walch is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Health Care Provider, Inc. and AIM Healthcare Institute, Inc. and Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Hawaii.
Dr. Atmospera-Walch is a nationally- and globally-recognized voice for nurses and a strong advocate for health equity for immigrants and minorities. Her commitment to improving health care delivery is evidenced by numerous interventions to improve patient outcomes. She possesses outstanding leadership skills in strategic planning and bringing groups together to accomplish their goals through her active membership and election to numerous boards and appointed groups. In all her activities, she focuses on health equity by bringing to the table the voice of nurses, immigrants, and women of color. Dr. Atmospera-Walch recognizes that access to education is key to improving the lives and health of first generation immigrants and their families leading her to making major gifts for student scholarships and endowed professorships. In 2021, the University of Hawaii recognized her by naming their School of Nursing in her honor as the Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing.
Dr. Atmospera-Walch received her ADN, BSN, DNP and MPH from the University of Hawaii.
