Ahmad Aboshaiqah is a full Professor in the College of Nursing at King Saud University. Dr. Aboshaiqah is the first Saudi promoted as full professor in nursing. Dr. Aboshaiqah was the chairman of the Nursing Scientific Board at the Saudi Comissions for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and a former Dean of the College of Nursing at King Saud University, serving from 2014 to 2018. He was also the supervisor of health and medical programs accreditation in National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation at the Saudi Education Evaluation Commission. Professor Aboshaiqah, is a key figure in the development of modern nursing and influential in the development of academic nursing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was instrumental in establishing the Saudi Nursing Association, which was the first internationally recognized professional organization for Saudi nurses and also affiliated with the International Council of Nurses (ICN).

Dr. Aboshaiqah completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and his Master in Health & Hospital Administration at King Saud University. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science in Health Systems Management at George Mason University. He completed his PhD in Nursing at Wayne State University-College of Nursing.
